Andela Tea Gives Back to The Community

Andela Tea hosted a bright meal sponsorship on Friday the 25th of September at Shepherd's Table. Shepherd's Table is an organization that improves the quality of life, creates a pathway towards self-sufficiency, and inspire hope for the most vulnerable experiencing food insecurity, homelessness, and poverty.

Through the sponsorship with Andela Tea, 105 homeless individuals received food and drinks.

Breakfast/Brunch meal served:

• Cheese
• Omelet
• Bacon
• Hash browns
• Biscuits, milk,
• Juice
• Yogurt
• Parfait

Drinks served:

• Tea
• Juice
• Milk
• Water

Andela Tea's team helped to set up the dining room as well as assisted in helping with the food prep. The team served meal, washed dishes and helped to clean the kitchen and dining room area after the meals were distributed. Andela Tea strives to give back to the community and those in need. Andela Tea's goal is to use a portion of the company's yearly profit to sponsor a Bright meal yearly.
